Overnight Fire In Somerville: Three Homes Affected
The fire quickly spread to other nearby structures.
SOMERVILLE, MA — Three homes caught fire on Thurston Street late Wednesday night, according to a report from NBC 10 Boston.
Firefighters responded to the scene at approximately 12 a.m. to the vacant resident that was under construction. After the blaze began there, it reportedly spread to two other nearby houses. The residents of the two other homes evacuated after smelling smoke and noticing the flames. The fire department battled the blaze for five hours. The vacant home in which the fire started collapsed. No injuries have been reported.
