A Special Concert at The Burren and the Importance of Native Plants

1) Tommy McCarthy and Louise Costello CD Release
Irish musicians—and owners of The Burren—Tommy McCarthy and Louise Costello have a new CD, and they're performing tonight at The Burren at 7:30 p.m. Click above for ticket information.
2) "Why Native Plant Landscapes Matter"
Claudia Thompson, founder of the horticultural organization Grow Native Massachusetts, will speak tonight. The talk is organized by the Somerville Garden Club, and it's at 7 p.m. at the Tufts Administration Building, 167 Holland St.
3) Three Little Figs Open on Mondays
Three Little Figs, at 278 Highland Ave., is now open seven days a week. The bakery and cafe has added Monday hours. Learn more here.
4) Growing Center Wreath Sale
The Somerville Community Growing Center is holding it's annual wreath sale. If you order one by Dec. 5—Thursday—you'll save some money. More here.
