SOMERVILLE, MA — The Somerville Police Department received the following reports between Thursday, May 29 and Tuesday, June 3.

Thursday, May 29

12:29 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a dispute on Statue Park. A man reported a woman who approached him and brandished a knife and yelled at him. She was soon located and placed under arrest.

Saturday, May 31

10:16 p.m. — Police responded to a report of an assault at Foss Park. A man reported being chased by another person with a knife.

Monday, June 2

3:10 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a fight on Medford Street. Two juveniles in a parking lot told officers they were fighting before being told to separate and leave the area.

Tuesday, June 3

10:18 a.m. — Police responded to a report of an assault on 14 McGrath Highway. A woman told officers she almost accidentally hit a man in a parking lot. He then yelled at her, spit on her, and brandished a knife. He was soon located and arrested.
