Assembly's SmartBear Introduces New Senior Vice President
The worldwide software development company has a location in Somerville.
SOMERVILLE, MA — SmartBear, a software company headquartered on Assembly Row, has appointed Steve Boss as its new Senior Vice President of Global Sales.
Prior to joining SmartBear, Boss worked as General Manager and SVP of Global Sales at CB Insights, which provides market intelligence through its global database and business analytics platform. At SmartBear, Boss is slated to take charge of the application programming interface and test management sales teams.
“Before the rise of GenAI, teams were challenged with releasing software faster with fewer resources. The rapid adoption of AI has compounded these challenges with increased complexity,” SmartBear CRO Melissa Campbell said. “Amidst this, Steve brings a wealth of sales and leadership experience that will be pivotal to our core business as he focuses on coaching, enabling, and leading our sales teams to deliver the tools our customers need to release quality software faster, leading to double digit growth for SmartBear.”
