SOMERVILLE, MA — The Somerville Police Department received the following reports between Tuesday, Sept. 2 and Sunday, Sept. 7.

Tuesday, Sept. 2

4:13 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering at a residence on Wallace Street. A resident reported the lock on his door was damaged but nothing had been reported missing.

Wednesday, Sept. 3

5:59 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering at a residence on Quincy Street. A resident reported waking up and seeing a person standing over him. The person then fled from the home.
11:12 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering at a business on Columbia Street. The business owner reported two men sleeping inside, despite the fact that the business is permanently closed.

Saturday, Sept. 6

11:23 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering at a residence on Alewife Brook Parkway. A person reported several pieces of jewelry missing from his mother’s apartment.
7:47 p.m. — Police responded to a report of shoplifting at a business on Canal Street. A witness reported a group of juveniles stole items from the store and assaulted a clerk.

Sunday, Sept. 7

3:50 a.m. — Police responded to a report of an assault on Davis Square. A man reported having bricks thrown at him and being hit with a stick by another man.
