Chinese Hot Pot Restaurant Opens in Union Square
The new restaurant Yuki Shabu will bring authentic Chinese cuisine to the Union Square food community.
SOMERVILLE, MA - Have you ever tried hot pot? It's a delicious authentic Chinese cuisine in which customers cook their own veggies, meat and seafood in a delectable broth right at the table.
A brand new hot pot restaurant called Yuki Shabu has opened up in Union Sqaure and the chef is excited to offer his cuisine to the community, according to the Somerville Arts Council's "Nibble" blog.
“Our chef will provide customers authentic flavors from mainland China. from wonton noodle soup, sliced Szechuan style fish, and crispy pork. We have all the options to suit your tastes," Joe Lam, a business owner and Hong Kong Native, told Somerville Arts and Council

The restaurant is located at 16 Bow Street, and plans to serve beer in the future, according to the Somerville Arts Council. Hours are 11 30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, 11 30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and Sundays from noon to 9:30pm.
