SOMERVILLE, MA — A driver was escaped serious injury after a piece of concrete went through his windshield on I-93 in Somerville.
MassDOT said it is inspecting the Exit 20 overpass after the concrete reportedly broke off and hit a passing SUV.
The driver had a scrape on his wrist, but was otherwise uninjured, NBC Boston reported.

An inspection of the overpass was underway Tuesday afternoon. There were no road closures as a result of the incident.
