1) Researching the History of Your Family and Your House
You'll learn tips on how to use genealogy resources at the library and elsewhere, and you'll also learn how you can research the history of your house. It's at 7 p.m. at the Somerville Public Library.

2) "Girl Rising"
This documentary depicts the stories of girls from developing countries around the world trying to get educations. Students at the Argenziano School have organized this screening, and it's open to the public. It's at 6 p.m. at the school.

3) Free Film: "Urban Roots"
From the listing: "Detroit’s story of urban farming demonstrates that one good option for people to take control over their food is to feed themselves." The film is at 7 p.m. at The Center for Arts at the Armory.
