Five Things: Magoun Square Unveils a Sign, Authors in Somerville

1) Magoun Square Sign Unveiling
You've seen the signs—red, with gold lettering—for Davis Square, Union Square, Winter Hill and other parts of Somerville. Now, Magoun Square has a sign, and there's a ceremonial unveiling this evening at 6 p.m. outside the CVS.

2) The author speaks at the Somerville Public Library at 6 p.m.

3) Authors Michael Palmer and Daniel Palmer at The Book Shop
According to the listing, "Michael Palmer is the author of eighteen novels of medical and political suspense, all international bestsellers." Meanwhile, "Daniel Palmer spent a decade as an e-commerce pioneer helping to build first generation websites for Barnes & Noble and other popular brands." He's also a published novelist and short-story writer. They're at The Book Shop at 7 p.m.

4) Spring String Fling
This concert features string instruments from around the school district. It's at 7 p.m. at the Somerville High School field house.
