According to the city clerk, 23 percent, or 12,758, of Somerville's 54,539 registered voters cast ballots in the Sept. 6 election.

SOMERVILLE, MA — The City of Somerville has released its unofficial election results for contested races in Tuesday’s primary election.
According to the city clerk, 23 percent, or 12,758, of Somerville’s 54,539 registered voters cast ballots in the Sept. 6 election.
As far as the Somerville state house seat race goes, Erika Uyterhoeven received 6,630 votes, winning against Jason Mackey, who received 1,027 votes, according to the Associated Press.
