SOMERVILLE, MA — MassDOT will conduct work to rehabilitate the lower level of the bridge on the off-ramp from I-93 North to Route 38 North Mystic Avenue (Exit 21) in Somerville. The ramp will be closed from 9 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 24 to 5 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 27. Ramp traffic will be detoured as follows: <ul><li>Continue on I-93 northbound to exit 23. </li><li>At the rotary, take the fourth exit to I-93 southbound. </li><li>Take exit 21 off-ramp to Route 38 (Mystic Avenue). </li><li>Take a left onto Route 38 (Mystic Avenue) southbound. </li><li>Take a left to Route 38 (Mystic Avenue) northbound just before Lombardi Street. </li><li>Take a right on Middlesex Avenue and continue to Route 28 Fellsway northbound. </li></ul> Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution. All scheduled work is weather dependent and subject to change.
