Korean Chicken Restaurant Coming To Somerville
The restaurant is opening at the site of a former Mexican eatery in Union Square.
SOMERVILLE, MA — A new Korean fried chicken restaurant is set to open where a Mexican restaurant formerly stood.
A sign for K-Bok Korean Fried Chicken now sits on the awning of 247 Washington St., which was the home for La Cantina Mexicana for nearly 30 years. The Mexican restaurant closed its doors in September 2023. The new K-Bok is expected to seat approximately 50 people and serve liquor. K-Bok will be the first of its kind when it opens, however an official launch date has not yet been revealed.
