Lance Davis Wins Somerville's Preliminary Ward 6 Election
Lance Davis emerged as the leading vote-getter in last week's preliminary election. Here's a look at how the other candidates fared.

The 2015 Preliminary City Election for Ward 6 Alderman was held on Thursday, Sept. 17, in Somerville. Lance Davis, one of four candidates who appeared on the ballot, is sitting pretty after emerging as the leading vote-getter.
1,116 total ballots were cast, with Davis wrangling nearly half of the votes with 612, according to the City of Somerville. Elizabeth Weinbloom finished in second place with 183 votes.
Davis and Weinbloom will be the lone candidates to appear on the Nov. 3 ballot for Ward 6 Alderman. Only the top two vote-getters move on to the General Election.
