'Le Macaron’ French Pastries Now Open In Somerville

SOMERVILLE, MA — Le Macaron French Pastries recently opened a location at 411 Artisan Way in Somerville.

The Somerville location is the bakery's first Massachusetts establishment, with a second planned for Cambridge. Le Macaron currently has over 60 other locations across the country.

Founded by mother and daughter duo Rosalie Guillem and Audrey Guillem-Saba, Le Macaron offers signature macarons in a variety of flavors, gourmet chocolates, French gelato, classic French pastries, European style beverages, and homemade candies. Some locations may also serve a variety of wine and sparking wine.

"Handmade at our very own confectionary, our macarons make delightful desserts for festive parties or a fun treat for yourself and a friend,” says the bakery’s website. “At around 80 calories each and made with no gluten containing ingredients, these sweet treats are great for sharing and offering as a gift for any occasion."

Macaron flavors include basil white chocolate, Belgian chocolate, cassis jam, bubble gum, praline, coconut, Colombian coffee, birthday cake, lavender white chocolate, lemon cream, black vanilla from Madagascar, mango jam, mint white chocolate, orange Grand Marnier with chocolate, raspberry jam, red velvet, rosé, salted caramel, Sicilian pistachio and key lime-strawberry.
