Major Drug Bust Made In Somerville

SOMERVILLE, MA — A Methuen man was arrested in the city for numerous drug and firearm-related charges, Methuen Police announced on Friday.

Eric Lohman, 36, is facing a total of 18 charges. They include trafficking drugs such as heroin, ketamine, fentanyl, oxycontin, cocaine, adderall, and marijuana. Three charges are related to illegal firearm possession.

Methuen Police worked with the United State’s Drug Enforcement Administration’s Border Cross Initiative and the Massachusetts State Police to conduct the motor vehicle stop of Lohman in Somerville earlier this month. Lohman was suspected of dealing drugs from his Methuen residence prior to his arrest.

Police later raided Lohman’s apartment in Methuen and discovered thousands of grams worth of illegal drugs along with five rifles and two handguns.
