Man Yells 'F!@#$ You' At Police, Gets Arrested In Somerville

Fency Joseph, 31, of Somerville, has been charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

A Somerville man was arrested Saturday morning for yelling profanities at police officers.

A statement from the police department says at 8:15 a.m., Saturday, Fency Joseph, 31, of Somerville, shouted “F!@#$ you, you N!@#$ Pig!” at a cop he saw at the corner of Oxford and Central Street.

It should be noted that Joseph is a black man, which puts his use of the N-word in a different context than it would were it coming from a white person.

Police say an officer approached Joseph, who continued being disruptive, despite the fact that it was early in the morning and families, who were attempting to enter a nearby Dunkin’ Donuts were being made uncomfortable by his antics.

According to authorities, Joseph put his fists up upon being threatened with arrest, which all but guaranteed his arrest and charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
