MassDOT To Close Traffic Lanes On Medford Street In Somerville
Work will be conducted daily from Monday, Sept. 19, through Monday, Sept. 26, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
SOMERVILLE, MA — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) has announced temporary lane closures on Medford Street at the intersection with Somerville Avenue under Route 28 southbound.
Work will be conducted daily from Monday, Sept. 19, through Monday, September 26, from 7 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Roadway lanes will be closed and traffic barriers installed until the work is completed.
The lane closures will allow construction crews to install a City of Somerville 42-inch sewer main.

Drivers are asked to reduce speed and use caution while traveling through the work zones and should plan for traffic delays.
