Somerville's highly anticipated and massive new rock climbing center celebrates its grand opening on Wednesday. Called Brooklyn Boulders Somerville, the space offers much more than just rock climbing. Look at our sneak peek at the space.

2) Somerville By Design
Somerville By Design lets residents brainstorm about the future of their neighborhoods. A meeting about East Somerville takes place Monday at the Capuano School, 150 Glen St. A meeting about Davis Square takes place Tuesday at First Church Somerville, 89 College Ave. Both meetings start at 6:30 p.m.

3) Salsa & Salsa
Part of "It's Tuesday" in East Somerville, Salsa & Salsa lets people learn some spicy salsa dancing moves. There will also be local food. It's at 6:30 p.m. at the East Branch Library on, well, Tuesday.

4) SomerMovie Fest
Watch Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington in the movie "Philadelphia," which screens outdoors at Powder House Park, just after sunset on Thursday.

5) Cedar Street Meeting
A meeting about flooding on Cedar and Hall streets takes place Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Visiting Nurse Association, 259 Lowell St.
