More Lane Closures Scheduled For Mystic Ave, Fellsway In Somerville
During the closures, crews will install pavement markings as part of ongoing pedestrian improvements.
SOMERVILLE, MA — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) will be implementing lane closures on part of Route 38 (Mystic Ave) and Route 28 (Fellsway)at their intersection in Somerville starting Wednesday night.
The lane closures will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 14 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and Thursday, Sept. 15 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
During the closures, crews will install pavement markings as part of ongoing pedestrian improvements at the Route 38 and Route 28 intersection area.

Work at each location is anticipated to be short in duration and at least a minimum of one lane of directional traffic will remain open at all times, MassDOT said.
