New Restaurant Replacing MidiCi At Assembly Row
Salt + Stone, the first independent restaurant from the couple who ran MidiCi, is aiming for a February opening date.
SOMERVILLE, MA — A new restaurant from the couple behind Assembly Row's MidiCi is replacing the Neapolitan pizza place at the shopping and dining complex.
Salt + Stone is the first independent venture from Sean and Sue Olson, who have more than 40 years in the restaurant and hospitality industry and most recently ran MidiCi, according to the restaurant's website.
The space will feature a bar, private dining area and two outdoor patios with full-service. Its menu includes burgers, hot dogs, lobster rolls, seafood towers, flatbread pizzas, poutine, beer, wine, cocktails and more, according to Boston Restaurant Talk, which first reported the news.
