Police Booking Log: Prostitution Bust at East Somerville Hotel

The following arrest information was supplied by the Somerville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Arrests made by the Somerville Police Department from May 6 to May 12. Please remember that the charges listed below do not indicate a conviction.

Assault and battery

On May 10, Rafael Lima, 38, of Cambridge, was arrested at 9 Pinkney Place and charged with assault and battery and breaking and entering.

Larceny, theft and shoplifting

On May 10, Jasmine Sanchez, 26, of Charlestown, was arrested at 775 McGrath Highway, and charged with shoplifting.

Driving without a license

On May 12, Marcus DeMoura, 21, of Malden, was arrested on Lowell Street and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, speeding and leaving the scene of personal injury. He is accused of driving a BMW 80 miles per hour into a Toyota Corolla, injuring two people, then fleeing.

Other arrests

On May 7, Melissa Saccoach, 21, of Quincy, was arrested at 30 Washington St. and charged with sexual conduct for a fee. According to details in a police report, detectives investigating the illegal sex trade in Somerville responded to an Internet post advertising sexual services, and Saccoach quoted a detective $100 for half an hour of services and $150 for an hour of services and told the detective to meet her in a room at 30 Washington St., which is the address of the Holiday Inn. At the hotel, the detective exchanged money for half an hour of sexual services, and Saccoach began to disrobe a placed a Lifestyles Ultra Sensitive condom on the bed, the report says. At that point an arrest team moved in and arrested her, according to the report.

Warrant arrests

On May 6, Michael Andrews, 30, of Chelsea, was arrested at 97 Washington St. on a warrant for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license.

On May 6, Michael Splaine, 24, of 28 High St., was arrested at 230 Holland St. on warrants for attepting to commit crime, conspiracy, document forgery, uttering a false prescription and drug possession.

On May 7, Anthony Silva, 28, of Hooksett, N.H., was arrested at 28 Pinckney St. on a warrant for assault and battery.

On May 7, Casey Kolenda, 26, of 454 Medford St., was arrested at that address on warrants for speeding, failure to stop for police and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license.

On May 11, Matthew Henebury, 42, of 70 Boston St., was arrested at 24 Greenville St. on warrants for credit card fraud, uttering or forging a credit card and receiving a stolen credit card.
