Police Increasing Presence On Somerville Community Path: Report
Teenagers have reportedly been harassing pedestrians along the path.

SOMERVILLE, MA — The police department is increasing its presence in parts of the Somerville Community Path, according to a report from Boston.com.
He decision was made due to multiple reports of juveniles harassing residents along the path. Officers will be patrolling the areas of Davis Square, Lowell and Cedar Street, and Somerville High School. Reports have been received of young people scaring pedestrians, causing bicycle accidents, and calling people inappropriate names. One person claimed to be groped and pushed down by a teenager.
The Community Path runs 3.2 miles from Alewife Linear Park to the Lechmere MBTA Green Line station. It can be traversed with walking and cycling.
