Residents Displaced After Triple-decker Home Fire: Report

The next-door neighbors of the building were the first to report the blaze.

SOMERVILLE, MA — 27 people are now displaced from their residences after a fire on Wheatland Street, according to a report from NBC 10 Boston.

The flames broke out at the triple-decker home on Sunday, July 6. The response was heightened as outdoor temperatures were higher than 90 degrees. Somerville received assistance from the Boston, Chelsea, and Cambridge fire departments as well.

No injuries have been reported in the aftermath of the incident.
