Shot Fired at State Troopers in Medford

Single round came from a four door sedan that fled the scene, police said.

A gun shot was fired in the direction of Two State Troopers working a police Detail on I-93 in Medford early Saturday morning, police said.

The single round of gunfire came from a four-door sedan, which fled the scene. No one was hurt in the incident and the suspect(s) fled the scene without getting caught, according to a State Police press release. The incident occurred about 1 a.m.

The two troopers were working a paid detail on I-93 North near Route 60 when they saw the muzzle flash and heard the gun fire from the passing car, police said.
