Somerville Apartment Fire Causes Multiple Injuries: Report

The blaze broke out late Sunday night.

SOMERVILLE, MA — Multiple people suffered injuries from an apartment fire that took place on Sunday night, according to a report from 7 News Boston.

The flames were contained to one unit of the structure on Power House Boulevard, however heavy smoke traveled upward to the second and third floors. One woman jumped out of her first-floor window in order to escape. One of the people injured was a firefighter. According to Fire Chief Charles Breen, nine units in the complex have been rendered uninhabitable due to the fire damage.
