Somerville Book Store Offering Elopement Services: Report
The store caters to the LGBTQ+ community.
SOMERVILLE, MA — All She Wrote Books, a feminist and queer bookstore on 75 Washington St., has begun hosting elopement marriages, according to a report from Boston 25 News.
Christina Pascucci-Ciampa first opened the store in 2019 with the goal of selling books that can appeal and relate to a wider demographic of people. The goal of the elopement offerings is to further the theme of inclusion and comfortability to its customer base. Pascucci-Ciampa first considered the idea in 2022 after a couple got engaged in her store.
Three tiers of bookings are available running between $350 and $900. The store currently has its first wedding scheduled for January 2025.
