SOMERVILLE, MA — A 26-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with a fatal stabbing at a Somerville apartment complex, according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan's office. Kesner Junior Lubin, 27, of Somerville, was stabbed Saturday afternoon at the apartments on Alewife Brook Parkway after what prosecutors said was a verbal altercation with his neighbor. Lubin was pronounced dead at Massachusetts General Hospital. Washington Assis-Rodrigues was arrested at the scene. He will be arraigned Monday via teleconference on a charge of assault and battery causing serious bodily injury. Prosecutors noted additional charges could follow.
