Somerville Mayoral Candidate Hosting First Campaign Event
City Councilor Jake Wilson is running for mayor in the 2025 city election.

SOMERVILLE, MA — A mayoral campaign kickoff event is being held for Jake Wilson on Saturday, Jan. 11 at Highland Kitchen on 150 Highland Ave.
The two-term Councilor-At-Large announced his mayoral campaign in December. The two-hour event begins at 2 p.m. and is being orchestrated by The Committee to Elect Jake Wilson. Attendees will be served complementary food, with refreshments also available for purchase from a cash bar. Wilson said that he expects a large turnout for his campaign’s first public event and has already seen a lot of enthusiasm from residents since announcing his candidacy.
“I’m looking forward to talking about my vision for our Somerville and my plan to get us there, and I can’t think of a more perfect place to do this than Highland Kitchen,” Wilson said.
