Somerville PD Looking For Person Of Interest In 3 Home Break-Ins

SOMERVILLE, MA —The Somerville Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a "person of interest" in three recent residential housebreaks.

According to police, the housebreaks occurred in the Powder House Circle area, and security camera photos of the individual in question have been posted on the SPD's social media accounts.

The SPD said an unknown individual had been observed in homes recently between midnight and 8:30 a.m. Police believe the suspect entered through unlocked doors.

Authorities are reminding residents to lock their doors and windows overnight, especially those at ground level.

Additionally, the SPD is urging residents to call the police if they observe anything unusual in their neighborhood, like "loitering, persons in driveways or yards where they shouldn't be, or any other suspicious behavior."
