SOMERVILLE, MA —The Somerville Police Department is welcoming two new police officers to its team.

Officer Patrick Barton and Officer Tenzing Kartso graduated the Lowell Police Academy Friday and have started field training.

"Best of luck to a long and rewarding career to these young, new officers,” the department said in a statement.
