Inappropriate Comments In The Park: Somerville Police Investigating

Two separate incidents reportedly involved the same child.

SOMERVILLE, MA — The police department announced it is investigating two separate incidents that took place in the vicinity of Marshall Street Playground on Monday, July 14.

The first incident took place at approximately 2:45 p.m. in which a male reportedly made inappropriate comments to a child. Later that day, the same child fell victim to another adult male making comments.

According to police, the first person of interest has been identified. However, police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the second person. He is being described as a Hispanic male between the ages of 30 and 40 years old with short dark hair.
