Somerville Pub To Host Tarot Card & Pendulum Readings This October

SOMERVILLE, MA — R.F. O'Sullivan & Son, a classic Irish pub at 282 Beacon Street, is welcoming Veronica Keddy on Oct. 26 for tarot card and pendulum readings.

A Somerville local and self-proclaimed green witch, fortune teller, and beer enthusiast, Keddy has been soothsaying for the past five years and will give the pub’s customers a glimpse into the future through a few options: draw a single card to see if things start looking up this year, let the sway of the pendulum give clarity to a looming question, or get personal over an extended session.

RFO's is also offering a different kind of trial, the “Board of Burgers Challenge,” where hopefuls try to polish off a massive platter of five half-pound burgers, a bed of onion rings and French fries, and five pickle spears.

This who clean the plate without assistance from friends will have their photo added to the Hall of Fame board, take home a commemorative t-shirt, and RFO will comp their conquest.

Tarot card and pendulum readings will take place from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. One card or pendulum reading is $20 per person and a 20-minute reading is $35 per person.
