Four beach volleyball courts and 12 pickleball courts will come to the mixed-use site this spring.
SOMERVILLE, MA – Somerville’s Assembly Row development will welcome the city’s first beach volleyball destination this spring, alongside a Downeast Cider pop-up shop and summer artisan market.
“Each year we look to bring new activities and excitement to Assembly Row with pop-ups and creative activities,” David Middleton, vice president and general manager of Assembly Row, said in a news release. “Beach volleyball is new to the market and creates yet another compelling reason to visit the neighborhood along with the addition of new retailers, restaurants, and our popular events.”
Four beach volleyball courts and 12 pickleball courts with corresponding sports leagues on-site will be situated on 75,000 square feet in the park at Assembly Row, located at 355 Artisan Way.
