Somerville Sets PorchFest Date, Opens Registration
The annual music festival, which went virtual last year amid the pandemic, will return to porches throughout Somerville this year.
SOMERVILLE, MA — Somerville will host its annual PorchFest music festival Saturday, Oct. 2.
Registration is now open for musicians who wish to participate. Performers will be given a time to play based on where they are located: west of Willow Avenue performs from noon to 2 p.m., between Willow Avenue and Central Street performs from 2 to 4 p.m., and east of Central Street performs from 4 to 6 p.m.
PorchFest has been held annually since 2011, but went virtual as "CouchFest" last year due to the pandemic.

Performers who want to register should sign up at somervilleartscouncil.org/porchfest by Thursday, Sept. 30.
