Somerville Vietnamese Coffee Shop Opening Right Around The Corner

SOMERVILLE, MA — Pound House, a Vietnamese coffee shop coming to Ball Square, has announced the date for its grand opening.

The store slated to be located on 703 Broadway is having a soft opening on Monday, May 19 followed by its official grand opening on Friday, May 23.

According to its ownership, one thing that makes the coffee unique is that it uses the Robusta coffee bean from a farm in Vietnam. It also utilizes a gravity press method of brewing and sells Bánh Mì, a classic Vietnamese sandwich with meat, veggies, herbs, sauce, all in a baguette.
