Somerville's 2015 Halloween Sex Offender Safety Map

Before the kids go out trick-or-treating on Halloween, it’s a good time to take inventory of who is living in your neighborhood.

Somerville has 10 level 3 sex offenders either living or working in the city, according to the Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry Board.

Only the most severe sex offenders warrant a level 3 designation. That means they’re considered a ”high risk” to commit another offense, according to authorities. However, they are not wanted by the police, and using this information or harass or discriminate against these individuals is against the law.

• Robert Gibson, 65, homeless, convicted of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 years of age, rape of child with force, and unnatural and lascivious acts with a child under 16 in 1976. Then convicted of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 years of age in 1983, once again in 1984, and on another occasion in 1993.
• Peter Ames, 40, works at 66 South St., convicted of one count of indecent assault and battery of a person 14 or older in 2002, one count of rape in 2002, and six additional counts of indecent A/B on a person 14 or older in 2002.
• Anthony Canejo, 54, lives at 84 Sycamore St., Apt. 1, convicted of two counts of rape in 1985.
• Francis Dicecca, 49, works at 46 Medford St., convicted of assault with intent to rape, indecent A/B on a person aged 14 or older, and two counts of rape in 1994. Also convicted of two more rape charges in 1995.
• William Laliberte, 50, works at 24 Cross St., convicted of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 years of age in 1995.
• Henry Molignaro, 77, lives at 206 Washington St., convicted of assault with intent to commit rape and four counts of indecent A/B on a child under 14 in 1978. Also convicted of five counts of indecent A/B on a child under 14 in 1991.
• Kenneth Thomas, 60, lives at 407 Somerville Ave., convicted of open and gross lewdness and lascivious behavior in 2003, and convicted on the same charge again in 2005.
• Marc Vigeant, 49, works at 34 South St., convicted of incestutous marriage or intercourse, two counts of indecent A/B on a child under 14, and three counts of rape and abuse of a child in 2007.
• Patrick Vignali, 60, lives at 27 Howe St., convicted of indecent A/B on a child under 14 in 1995.
• Angelo Whitfield, 58, lives at 46/48 South St., Apt. 1, convicted of indecent A/B on a child under 14 years of age and rape and abuse of a child in 1981.
