Somerville's 'Best Of' Winners from Boston Magazine

The August edition of Boston Magazine, which recently hit newsstands, features's the publication's annual Best Of Awards. In fact, this year marks the 40th anniversary of the awards, according to an email from the magazine.

This year, 10 Somerville businesses won the award.

Here's the list of Somerville's winners:

• Best Wine Shop: Ball Square Fine Wines
• Best Doughnut: Union Square Donuts
• Best Butcher Shop: M.F. Dulock
• Best Bartender: Sam Treadway of Backbar
• Best Kid-Friendly Restaurant: Flatbread Company
• Best Sports Bar: Parlor Sports 
• Best Southern Food: Highland Kitchen

In addition, here are the winners of the best neighborhood-restaurant awards:

• Davis Square: Five Horses Tavern
• Inman Square: Trina's Starlite Lounge
• Union Square: The Independent
