Street Shooting In Somerville Has Police Investigating

The Somerville Police Department is investigating after a person was nearly shot by a stray bullet in their living room.

SOMERVILLE, MA — Police are investigating after shots were fired in the middle of a street in Somerville, with some of the bullets entering the living room of a home, and nearly hitting a person sitting in their living room.

Officers responded to 10a Memorial Road just after 7 p.m. after receiving multiple 911 calls for shots being fired. Once they got there, officers say they found shell casings in the street.

An investigation is linking a red or maroon Subaru to the scene around the same time, with police reporting that someone inside the car fired shots at a group of people standing in front of 10a Memorial Rd.
