Union Square Donuts Opens Assembly Row Location
The area donut chain is double-dipping in Somerville as part of Assembly Row's third phase of expansion.
SOMERVILLE, MA — Union Square Donuts is expanding its presence in Somerville with a new location at Assembly Row.
The donut shop, which was announced last fall as part of the shopping and dining complex's third phase of development, opened Monday, Eater Boston reported. It is the Somerville-based chain's fifth greater Boston location and second in its home city.
The shop serves its full slate of donut options, as well as cold brew, drip coffee and espresso, Eater reported. Online ordering and delivery will be offered in the future.
