Wanted Man Caught in Somerville After Traffic Stop

A fugitive from justice wanted on out of state gun charges was arrested after he blew through a red light Saturday in Union Square

SOMERVILLE, MA - A fugitive from justice wanted on out of state gun charges was arrested after he blew through a red light Saturday in Union Square, police said.

Yulial Cuello-Reynoso, of 3 Johnson Terrace, Dorchester, was arrested on May 21 at 7:20 p.m. and charged with failure to yield at a stop sign and being a fugitive from justice. Police said he was stopped after driving through a red light. Cuello-Reynoso was allegedly reluctant to provide an officer with identification. When an officer called for backup Cuello-Reynoso provided his identification, police said.

The officer learned Cuello-Reynoso was wanted in Rhode Island for carrying a pistol without a license and arrested Cuello-Reynoso, police said.
