Watch: Tactless Drivers, Cyclists, and Jaywalkers Lampooned by Somerville Actors

When one hears the phrase “traffic safety,” one does not normally free associate it with the word “chuckles.”

In other words, friendly reminders to signal when turning, wear a bike helmet, and quit jaywalking usually aren’t funny. However, the folks at Somerville City TV tried their darndest to make one that was.

In “Commuting Confessions,” a mom admits she’s being a hypocrite when she tells her tricycle-riding son to wear a helmet, an ill-tempered biker runs into a dose of bad karma, and a wildly successful businessman says he’s so important that he can cross the street where and whenever he pleases.
