The Stop &amp; Shop that's moving into the former Johnnie's Foodmaster building in West Somerville is taking shape. Somerville Patch contacted Stop &amp; Shop on May 6, and at that time the supermarket company did not have news about an opening date for the new store.  But our eyes don't lie. Work has been progressing quickly at the site, at least to the exterior of the building. Workers installed the Stop &amp; Shop sign the week before Memorial Day. This is a photo taken through the sunroof of a car, which explains its artistic, gritty realist avant garde composition. As you can see, the site is beginning to look official.
