Colonial Faire And Muster To Happen In Sudbury

The free event is all part of the town's 250th celebration.

SUDBURY, MA — A historic celebration is all set to take place in Sudbury this weekend.

The Colonial Faire and Muster of Fife and Drum will happen on Saturday. The event, at the Wayside Inn Grounds, will feature live demonstrations, a fife and drum competition, games, crafts and a food court.

The free event is all part of the town's 250th celebration, which kicked off with a Fourth of July parade and continued on Sept. 21 with the presentation and firing of the Ticonderoga Cannon.

The next event after Saturday will happen on Oct. 25 at The Battle of Red Horse Tavern, with a live re-enactment of the colonial battle.
