Lower Prices For Sudbury Community Electricity Aggregation Program
New prices will take effect in December.
SUDBURY, MA — Sudbury announced the renewal of its Community Electricity Aggregation program until 2029.
The CEA program will have new prices, according to the town. The purchasing program provides electricity supply options to help residents and businesses manage costs and increase renewable energy use.
The program, which launched in 2017, has saved participants a total of $9.2 million, according to the town. That equals about $1,660 for the typical residential customer.

Those already participating in the CEA do not need to take action and will remain in the program with this new pricing:
- Sudbury Basic offers 63% renewable sources in 2025
- Old price: 14.950 ¢/kWH, New price: 13.265 ¢/kWH
- Sudbury Standard offers 100% National wind renewable sources in 2025
- Old price: 15.125¢/kWH, New price: 13.440 ¢/kWH
- Sudbury Plus offers 100% MA Class | renewable sources in 2025
- Old price: 16.455¢/kWH, 14.329 ¢/kWH
