Missing Sudbury Man Found At Local Pond, Treated For Injuries

SUDBURY, MA — Sudbury and Wayland firefighters located an 85-year-old man who was reported missing Thursday afternoon at a local pond.

A joint search team found the man at Heard Pond, according to the Wayland Fire Department. The crew was searching the pond by boat when they found the man. He was taken to a local hospital due to minor injuries.

The man was first reported missing around 12:30 p.m. and was last seen along Griscom Road near Pelham Island Road, Sudbury police said. Heard Pond is just over the town line in Wayland near the intersection of Griscom and Pelham Island roads.
