Police To Host Rape Defense Class In Sudbury
The program will run on Tuesdays in September.
SUDBURY, MA — The police department in Sudbury is hosting a new class to keep women safe.
The Sudbury Police Department is running a free Rape Aggression Defense System for residents. The basic physical defense class for women will run on Tuesdays throughout September.
The RAD program includes lectures, discussions, as well as self-defense techniques, according to the police department. It is open to women older than 16 years old.

The classes will be held on the following days:
- Sept. 2 from 6 to 8 p.m.
- Sept. 9 from 6 to 8 p.m.
- Sept. 16 from 6 to 8 p.m.
- Sept. 23 from 6 to 9 p.m.
