Snowstorm, Ice Closing Sudbury Schools Early

Schools let out early on Wednesday in preparation of the icy storm.

SUDBURY, MA—A winter weather advisorystates that a wintry mix is hitting most of Massachusetts on Wednesday between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. Snow accumulations of three to five inches and ice of around one tenth are expected in most areas, including Framingham.

As a precaution, Sudbury public schools are being dismissed early on Wednesday, Feb. 7, and there will be no preschool and no after-school programs.

The schedule will be modified as follows:

  • ECMS will dismiss at 10:45 a.m.
  • Elementary Schools will dismiss at 11:30 a.m.
  • No Preschool Classes
  • All schools will be closed for afternoon and evening activities, meaning that SED will not be available tomorrow for after-school care

Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School has a two-hour early dismissal, and no evening activities.
