Downed Trees, Wires Lead To Road Closures In Sudbury

Multiple power outages were also reported.

SUDBURY, MA — Down trees and wires caused multiple road closures in Sudbury on Friday afternoon.

Sudbury police alerted residents to the following closures and detours shortly after 12 p.m.:

  • Moore Road - closed between Raynor Road and Stearns Lane
  • Old Sudbury Road - closed at Center Street
  • Lincoln Road - closed at the Wayland Town Line
  • Horse Pond Road - detoured from Evergreen Road to Stonebrook Road
  • Peakham Road - closed at No. 48

Sudbury firefighters said multiple power outages were also reported.

"Remember all downed wires are dangerous, and to maintain a large distance away from them," said IAFF Local 2023.
