MA Girl, 17, Found Dead In Boyfriend's Home Under Suspicious Circumstances
The girl's 20-year-old boyfriend blocked police from entering the home before he was arrested on assault charges.
STOW, MA — A 20-year-old man was arrested on assault charges Friday after his 17-year-old girlfriend was found dead in his Stow home, according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan.
Police went to the Great Road home of Shane Curry, 20, around 4:30 p.m. Friday. Curry prevented police from entering the home for about two hours, Ryan said in a news release. When police finally entered the home, they found Naveah Goddard, 17, dead. Goddard lived in the home with Curry.
Goddard was previously reported as missing from Lincoln, RI, by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Curry was taken to a hospital for evaluation after police discovered Goddard, but he was later arrested on charges including assault and battery on a household or family member and assault and battery causing serious bodily injury.
"The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death and additional charges are possible," Ryan said in a news release.
