Sudbury Middle School Among Best In MA, U.S. News Says In New Ranking
U.S. News researchers based the ranking of the nation's best public middle schools on available data from the Department of Education.
SUDBURY, MA — Ephraim Curtis Middle School in Sudbury is among the best public middle schools in Massachusetts, according to a new ranking Tuesday from U.S. News & World Report.
The school ranked No. 24 on the list, with a student-teacher ratio of 10:1, a student math proficiency of 77 percent, and a reading proficiency of 70 percent.

U.S. News researchers based the 2026 ranking of the nation’s best public middle schools on publicly available data from the U.S. Department of Education. The researchers ranked more than 23,000 middle schools in their 2026 report, which was released Tuesday.
